Scholarships

The Penn Valley Community Rodeo Association Scholarship is open to any Nevada Union High School District student meeting the scholarship criteria. Two $1000 PVCRA Scholarships are offered to high school seniors each year.

To qualify, students must demonstrate an interest in pursuing an education in Agriculture– or a related field– by enrolling in and attending an accredited 2 or 4-year college, university or vocational school.

If your school is listed on the Nevada Joint Union High School District website, please follow the instructions there to complete and submit your application.

THE PVCRA SCHOLARSHIP Committee… is looking for applicants who reside in the Penn Valley, Rough & Ready, Smartsville, and Big Oak Valley areas. We recommend that applicants demonstrate active involvement in 4-H or FFA, as well as service to their local community, and maintain a minimum 2.5 g.p.a.
